Dina was exactly the consultant I needed to choose a dress. She included my entourage in the experience by allowing them each to pick out a dress. Dina told me she was going to put me in some dresses I would never have tried on, and was surprised with what I liked. She also demonstrated different ways I could alter the various dresses to make it my own. I also liked that she had me sit in ever dress so I could get a realistic feel of how it would feel on my special day. She even let me wear them outside to get the natural light! In the end, found a great dress that I can wait to wear.

The boutique was a perfect place to find my dress. The staff is knowledgeable and make the experience fun for everyone.

When I first arrived Dina, the owner, inquired what I was looking for and while she was pulling dresses, she let me pick any dresses I wanted to try. Additionally she let the friends I brought with me to each pick a dress for me to try on.

Each time I tried on a dress, she showed me different options of wearing the dress, and what can be done with alterations to modify the dress to my taste. She turned the lights of to see what it would look like in the evening, and showed me various vales and additions that would change up the look. She also let me and my bridal party alone for about twenty minutes so we could discuss the dress and drink our champagne.

The stylist picked the dresses, spot on what I was looking for, The last one fit perfect, except it had a back and I wanted a blackless dress. She showed me all the possible ways she could alter the back so that I would have the blackless dress of my dreams, and I ended up picking this dress. I am excited to get is, so that I can see how it will be transformed.

In addition to the beautiful dresses, and amazing experience, the prices were also very reasonable and I came in under budget for a designer dress.

I had the most wonderful experience when I stumbled into a new bridal shop in town called Bride to Be . First impression when walking in was how refreshing the boutique was and second was the friendly greeting from the owner of the shop. Tina, the owner asked me a few questions about the wedding and if I had anything in particular in mind, which really I didn’t. I wanted maybe like a lace mermaid maybe???? She pulled out gowns that she thought may work for me and some that I would never have thought I would like . Tina tirelessly pulled out gown after gown and played with accessories and finally the first gown she had pulled and I tried was THE ONE! I was most surprised with the prices of the gowns considering the level of designers they carry . I was not rushed – I was given plenty of time to choose. Tina was right on with the gown she chose for my silhouette.. I thought I wanted one thing but was open to one other style, and wound up getting that other style. The salon isn’t huge so perhaps if you need to try on many many options because you don’t know what kind of gown looks good on your body type, etc. then go to another salon first with a huge selection, narrow it down. But do not make your final decision before visiting Bride to Be.

I wound up purchasing a Lela Rose. It was the first one she pulled and the first one I tried on. Crazy when that happens but nothing else lived up to it. The alterations were impeccable, the custom head piece and jewelry were spot-on to my specs and I could not have been treated better. Go here!

Bride to Be is quintessential Manhattan right in Sacramento! As a New York City resident I have tried on dresses at all the designer boutiques including Vera Wang, Saks, Amsale and Kleinfelds, none of which impressed me. Inattentive, snotty sales people and strict no picture policies made dress shopping a negative experience.

After driving by Bride to Be on Fair Oaks Blvd I noticed a beautiful dress in the window which prompted me to stop. Little did I know I would be entering bridal heaven!

I was happily greeted by the owner, Dina Poulos, who’s bright smile, warmth and professionalism stood out immediately. She encouraged me to look around, even without an appointment, and offered beverages as we explored the store. My jaw literally dropped when I saw her beautiful assortment of designer name gowns! Monique Lhullier, Oscar de la Renta, Rivini, Peter Langner are just a few to name, in addition to many equally as gorgeous and still affordable dresses by Pronovias, Mori Lee and Eddy K. I couldn’t believe that I stumbled upon such an incredible store!

I probably tried on every dress without any hesitation from Dina, who personally helped me. She was never frustrated with my indecisive tendencies and encouraged me to take pictures and then to go home and think about it! What a relief to not be pressured to buy a gown, but encouraged to take my time and make the right decision. I ended up falling in love and purchasing a Monique Lhullier which I cannot wait to wear!

Bride to be should be the only stop made when buying a wedding gown, prom dress or any other event requiring something incredible! Sacramento is beyond lucky to have Dina, her gorgeous gowns and unbelievable customer service. There is no place like it in Sacramento and finally Sacramento brides can have have big city designers at their fingertips!

After several tedious weeks of dress shopping and visiting bridal shops in San Francisco, Stockton, Modesto, Yuba City and Sacramento, I finally found “MY DRESS” at this fantastic boutique.

The staff here was unbelievably accommodating and patient. After trying on several dresses that I thought I liked and had requested be pulled out for me to try on, the owner asked me to try on two dresses she thought would be perfect for my silhouette. She was absolutely right , I found “My Dress”. I was ecstatic, I could not stop hugging her. Thank you Bride to Be for your patience, your input, your professionalism, your courtesy and most of all “MY DRESS”!

This shop is a must for all brides before making any decision with their dress buying!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

This is an AMAZING bridal shop – it had tons of high-end designers for those of you with large budgets, but just as many beautiful dresses on discount (often from high-end designers as well) I recently went to try on wedding dresses and – like the other reviewers – I had the owner’s full attention. She had fantastic taste and lovely suggestions for dresses, but never pushed anything on me if I wasn’t interested. I also had the full attention of her tailor, who frequently had helpful suggestions about how we could customize each dress to be an even better fit for my tastes.

If you are in the Sacramento area and you are looking for a wedding gown, you MUST go to Bride to Be.

The nice lady who owns and operates Bride To Be is extremely accommodating and very creative. Together with her sales staff and seamstress/tailor they put together the most beautiful, custom fit, wedding dress for my daughter. We put them to the challenge too. My daughter could not (would not) decide whether she wanted to elope to a tropical island, go to the courthouse in jeans or have a traditional wedding. She finally made her decision on January 31st, AND SHE DECIDED ON A TRADITIONAL WEDDING ON MARCH 1st. We only had four weeks, thank goodness for the staff at Bride To Be Couture. They stepped up to the plate and got the job done.
